An Open Letter to the

President Obama your speech regarding the oil spill and the Gulf for the first time in your Presidency
transmitted your emotion and the leadership of the United States of America. From here until your presidency
ends you must do that every day with the same intensity, leadership, passion, and willingness to risk. You're getting ahead of an issue you're feeling other people's pain, suffering, and finding ways to relieve that in an open manner.. Leadership, leadership, leadership it is the one thing America needs now and in the decades into the future. Your call for a new energy policy with a stick to it results oriented capability to create hundreds of thousands of new jobs is just what is needed. Climate change is the single greatest evil we face as a nation and as a species. The science is clear it does not negotiate, scientists have told us from every scientific institution on the surface of this Earth that it is a danger to the existence of every species on the planet. Humans are responsible for this, that is clear in the research. It is time to engage, it is time to stop Republican blockages and willful acts of confusion and doubt in the minds of the American public. This is a national crime. Fixed and large interests have ruined man's capability to have a fruitful and unlimited capable future. It is time for the fossil fuel industry to understand and define what its business is. In a Peter Drucker endeavor, the question is - What is my Business? Congratulations Mr. President keep up the intensity, don't let it drop for one second. Engage and enlighten-- light the fire of imagination in the soul of the people of the United States. Barry |
