New Artic Sea Ice Maps for 2010-11

The European space agency will unveil the first map of the winter 2010–11 changes in Arctic sea-ice thickness measured by ESA’s ice mission. The event will take place on 24 April at the Royal Society in London.

New ESA Satellite Data from Polar Regions

Exciting new data and maps from European Space Agency’s CryoSat 2 mission were revealed on June 21, 2011 at the Paris Air and Space Show. This new information is set to change our understanding of the complex relationship between ice and climate.
